London-Day 1

St. Paul's Cathedral

I have just arrived in London and it is amazing. It is surrounded by the North and Irish sea, just north of the English Tunnel. I've noticed that the urban zone here is quite large. I first visited the City of London. Another tourist here recommended to me that i should visit St. Paul's Cathedral so off i went. When i got to the cathedral i stood in front of it just amazed at it's beauty. It almost looks similar to the capitol in Washington D.C. except the cathedral looks ancient. It has such character on the outside. The inside honestly took my breath away. The way it is lit up is so amazing. I stood, gazing around, and noticed just about every detail in every inch of that place. I couldn't take my eyes off of this place. While visiting it i was informed that this is the highest point of the city of London, as it sits on a hill. Also i learned that this is where the bishop of london sits. It is a 17th century bulding and is actually the 4th cathedral built I believe.
